The Baltic Sea — A Sea of a Thousand Faces

Where the fields of Skåne meet the water,
where the sky bends down and kisses the sea,
the Baltic lives its double life —
wild and still, dark and bright all at once.

In the rose-tinted shimmer of dawn
the water glows like molten amber,
and the thin veils of the waves
caress the sandy shore with tenderness.
